Dear Tim and Angela,

Sorry it's taken me some time to email you after spending our week and wedding at Middle Coombe, but just wanted to thank you for such a wonderful time. It was a bit of a last minute decision to get married during the week we were on holiday, but we're so glad we decided to go for it - we couldn't have chosen a more beautiful place. Without gushing too much, I have to say what a wonderful and very memorable moment it was to walk "down the isle" into that beautiful oak panelled room, decorated with rhododendrons from the garden, friends lounging on the sofas, and kids sat cross-legged on that great window sill - it was warm, intimate, relaxed and very special. We put off getting married for many years (we've been together 14 yrs), mainly because we couldn't find the right way to do it. Middle Coombe was perfect, it really has a lovely atmosphere and very special quality about it.

You were both great hosts, thank you for all you help, for the lovely card and champagne, and numerous borrowed items. We hope to get the opportunity to come and stay again in the future, and will be recommending you to all and sundry. We wish you all the best of luck with the business and the Trust. Dear Tim & Angela,

Just a note to say a massive thank you for letting us get married at Coombe. Everyone of our guests were blown away by the venue, Nigel and I had a magical day.

Thank you also for our gifts left for us, the cake in the farmhouse was delicious and the Champagne helped to steady our nerves while getting ready on the wedding day. We have the lovely card with Tim's photo framed on the wall.

Thank you so much for all your kind help and support whilst we were planning our wedding day.

Our wedding day was perfect and just as we wanted it. The barn looked gorgeous for the ceremony and meal with all the greenery from your woods that our friends and family collected and arranged.  The marquee worked out well, and the bunting and greenery made it fit in better. The woodland ceremony was beautiful and the swing, speeches, vows and ribbon hand tying made it very special and uniquely personal for us. The whole venue is fantastic and we are so glad we came across it as it fitted in with exactly the type of wedding we wanted. Lots of our guests commented on how personal, lovely and different it all was,and that it was ideal for us, making it very memorable.

We also very much enjoyed bring able to have friends and family staying so close, the house was great, and so was the camping. It made the wedding dayl feel longer, like a weekend. We could also spend a couple of days after with everyone particularly those that traveled from afar and stayed longer.

Thank you so much for giving us some contacts, Jacquie Green, Alison Orchard, the chair cover company and contact for the marquee, all which was very helpful.

Dear Tim, Angela & Sofia & Finn,

Here is a very belated thank you for all you kindness and help the way you welcomed us so warmly to Middle Coombe for our wedding.

I guess we must have had the wettest of all the weddings with you this year - but in some ways it made it even more special for us. We love the fact that our guests spent most of the days in wellies and waterproofs, but didn’t let the cold and soggyness dampen the day - and probably danced and partied more because of it.

Middle Coombe is now such a special place to us - it really is a haven. We’ll definitely be back to stay with family/friends.

Thank you so much for your kindness and great hospitality surrounding Adam & Ruth’s wedding on Saturday.

It will be an occasion we shall treasure and remember as being very special, enhanced strangely by the dreadful weather.
