The main living room

The sitting room is a beautiful wood-panelled space with a massive oak-framed window, comfy sofas and a roaring open fire. If you stay for Christmas we give you a lightly decorated tree from the forest then encourage you to go exploring down in the woods for your own additional decorations. In winter the log fire castes a flickering orange glow on the ancient oak panelling. Some people are reading whilst others talk around the large coffee table putting the world to rights.
