THE SETTING

Nature's 5 elements found here at Middle Coombe to enhance healing and transformation:

Earth - the soil association certified organic farm, gardens and fields that surround us here

Wood - 240 acres of forest - walk directly into it from the farmhouse - see the 400 year old oak tree which draws people to hold 'handfasting' ceremonies under its branches. We never clear-fell.

Water - our own well, reputed to be on the St Michael 'ley line' Stream with ponds running through the woods

Fire - Massive indoor fire in the lounge of the farmhouse and back courtyard open-air fire, Stone circle fire pit surrounded by beautiful open field and looking onto the woodlands, young apple orchard, and thatched barn.

Air - pure country air unpolluted by noise and smog, soundless except for nature's sounds Birds, owls, deer, bats and crucially, our contented bees busy on our organic farm plants pollinating our 5 yrs old apple orchard (20 ancient traditional varieties)
