Meat the way it used to be from our organically grown happy cows - why not try our Coombe farm beef.

Onsite Cook:

Don't feel like cooking now you are on holiday?
Don't want the hassle of a large group going out to dinner, pre booking and organising for people to drive and who can't have a drink?
Or maybe you really want to stay at home and not have to cook- well , you can, no hassle. Just ring and organise Jacquie to come and do it for you. In the well-equipped kitchen of Middle Coombe farm she will cook at your request what you want! Vegetarian and meat!

Jacquie is our local cook, who will come to Middle Coombe Farm to cook for your group whether it's a breakfast, lunch, dinner, BBQ, celebration dinners, parties etc.

it is very useful to have Jacquie on the first night of your holiday if you want to wait and shop locally the next day. Or simply if you don't have enough space in your car or you have come by train/bus and don't want to carry more bags etc.

Breakfast Box

Time Issue:
If you haven't had the time to organise food for your visit a great way around this is to order the breakfast box before your arrival. It will be there waiting for you upon arrival.

Space Issue:
If you haven't enough space in your car or you are coming by train and you don't want to carry food then it's a great option to have the breakfast box delivered to you at Middle Coombe Farm.

What's in the Breakfast Box?

1. Vegetarian box
2. Meat box for the (fry up!!) as local as you can get, bacon and sausages are all from Uplowman farms.
3. Mixed Box

The eggs that come in your box are the best eggs from Uplowman Village which is very local. Every hen has a name, the loving owners almost read them bedtime stories and the hen house is fit for a human it is so clean and large. The garden they roam around during the day is adjacent to a beautiful pond and the countryside is amazingly beautiful. Lucky hens and even luckier us who have the benefit of eating their eggs. Needless to say they are fed on organic feed.

Local Picnic Baskets:

Jacquie also organises the picnic baskets. Just ring her in advance of your booking to organise this facility and sit back, relax and enjoy it. If you haven't had the time to do it before your holiday you can try contacting her while you are here. Jacquie will even deliver to your door. She creates picnics to suit your needs:

Vegetarian
Meat
Specialities for the kids
A mixed basket of vegetarian and meat dishes

Winter picnic baskets are also available - with flasks of homemade soup etc. Whatever the season Jacquie can alter the foods to suit your requirements.

Picnic baskets are made from as much local and organic produce as possible.
