Brrrrrrr. Autumn is upon us once more and it’s all change for the season at Middle Coombe Farm.

We want to tell you that the red deer in our 220 acres of woodland are rutting, the owls are a-hooting and the colours of the trees and woodlands are magical. Autumn suits Middle Coombe Farm.

There are a myriad of great events & food & drink festivals happening in the surrounding parts (within half an hour of Middle Coombe Farm) which can add an extra dimension to a wonderful weekend break in the mid Devon hills.

Middle Coombe Farm is now able to offer Allensdown Barn (sleeps 6-8) and the thatched C16th farmhouse (sleeps 12- 16) separately for 3 night weekend bookings. Guests can still book out the entire 400 acres of farm and woodland exclusively should they wish with a large group of 16-20 guests but we are also able to offer gorgeous Allensdown barn for smaller groups, so parties of all sizes now get a chance to stay at this fabulous place.

Carnival Time Can it really be? Yes, amazingly, it can. Come and experience Wellington carnival on the eve of September 26th 2015. The local towns are part of the tour the carnivals take bringing traditional themes and local folklore to life.
